Whakamana

 
The Whakamana project aims to highlight the lives and passions of ordinary and extraordinary people. This includes those who have made a valuable contribution within their communities, for their hapū, iwi or group, or within an industry or business.

We seek nominations to recognise those within your community who have a passion for an issue or purpose, or a unique perspective or idea, that is valuable to themselves and others. We hope to create an ethnographic record of their life, their thoughts and ideas, and what drives them, particularly where they may not be recognised more broadly, or their voice is unique and valuable to others.
